[ May 1, 2000 ] BACK AVIATION SOLUTIONS LAUNCHES SINGLE BRAND BACK Associates announces the combination of its BACK Information Services and AvSOLUTIONS units under the single brand, BACK Aviation Solutions. James W. Jackson has been named President of BACK Associates. Jackson, a partner in BACK Associates, most recently served as Managing Director of BACK’s strategic consulting and technical services subsidiary, AvSOLUTIONS. In announcing the corporate structure of BACK Aviation Solutions, Jackson explained, "We are a growing business serving a diverse base of customers around the world who are involved in every facet of commercial and private aviation. We are looking forward to offering our clients first-class services under the new name of BACK Aviation Solutions. We are fortunate to have such a qualified team to take all our services into the new millenium." Founders and principals of BACK Associates, Michael Allen and Scott Brandt continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of BACK, respectively. John Weber, Vice President, Worldwide Sales, has recently relocated to the United States from Amsterdam to assume responsibility for the global sales team after spending the past two years supporting BACK’s European expansion. Mike Johnson, Vice President, Operations of BACK Information Services, Ltd. and co-founder of BACK Associates, manages operations, development and customer service for BACK’s information products and services.
