[ May 12, 1997 ] BACK INFORMATION SERVICES ANNOUNCES NEW REGIONAL AIRCRAFT DIRECTORY PRODUCT BACK Information Services announced plans to launch Regional Aircraft Directory at the end of July 1997. The first official release will be the 2nd quarter 1997 edition. Based on the Lundkvist worldwide Fleet database, which covers major transactions in the life of most aircraft built since 1940, the RAD consists of two volumes published quarterly, providing an up-to-date, hard-copy source for tracking regional aircraft fleets and new orders. The monthly Transaction and Availability Report, which tracks aircraft transactions and the used aircraft market, is also available. All aircraft used in the regional/commuter market are covered in these documents. Content is as follows: RAD (Volume I): · Stored Aircraft · Undelivered New Orders · Fleet Summary by Engine · Fleet Summary by Model · Airline Directories and Fleet Summaries RAD (Volume II): · Detailed Regional Aircraft Inventories Regional Aircraft Transaction and Availability Report: · Comprehensive Listings by Aircraft and Airline Since acquiring the Commercial Jet Fleets (CJF) directory business from Federal Express Aviation Services on February 1, 1997, BACK has been publishing quarterly editions of the two-volume CJF directory and monthly issues of the Transaction and Availability Report. These documents are also used to track aircraft fleets, new orders and used aircraft availability, but strictly for commercial jets.
