[ May 24, 2000 ] Newly re-branded BACK Aviation Solutions expands its consulting team Leading aviation consultancy, BACK Aviation Solutions, newly re-branded to reflect the combined expertise of BACK Information Systems and AvSolutions, is further expanding its team. The Manassas, VA-based office has named H. Giovanni Carnaroli as manager of consulting services and has named Diane D’Aubin as technical services administrator. Giovanni joins from another aviation consultancy firm and brings a wide range of experience in business and strategic strategic consulting. He will lend support across all product lines, including information services and asset management. Giovanni, who is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French, graduated with an MBA from the University of Maryland in 1993. From August 1993 to March 1996, he worked within the Maryland University’s Graduate School of Management and Technology as marketing co-ordinator prior to joining the Federal Aviation Administration as an Industry Economist. During his three years with the Department of Transportation he was involved in a series of projects, including the development of benefit-cost analyses at three U.S. airports- Seattle-Tacoma, Memphis and Saint Louis Lambert International. He received merit awards in both 1997 and 1998 in recognition of his work with the Aviation Trust Fund and the FCT Program respectively. Joining aviation consultancy SH&E in February 1999, Giovanni has supported clients in Africa, southern Europe and South America, lending expertise on airline and airport analysis, including privatization processes. Diane is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and is a Certificated Flight Instructor. She will assist with BACK Aviation Solutions’ rapidly growing corporate aviation appraisal practice.
