O&D-lux Sample

O&D-lux provides US DOT traffic in comprehensive detail, including passengers, revenues and fares by individual routing, carrier and direction, including connection flow through hubs and gateways. With data available from the 1st quarter 2000, O&D-lux is a critical tool for determining air traffic patterns, air carrier market shares and passenger flows.

The source data is a 10% sample of airline tickets from reporting carriers collected by the DOT's Office of Airline Information of the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. See the Items column on the screen immediately below for the 28 possible columns of information available, which include origin, destination and other itinerary details of passengers transported.

Scroll through the sample screens below for an idea of just how simple it is to use this product.
 

Sample Input Screens:
 
1. Build your project on the Select Data Items Screen. Select the columns you want to see in your downloaded report on the blue Display Fields side of the screen and decide what limits you want to place on your data on the yellow Constraint Field Definitions side of the screen.
 
2. A D in the Dir column indicates that a handy code directory is available to help you choose your codes. In the Destination Directory below, ranking codes (for example, Top 100 destinations by Number of Passengers) are provided to make your job easier.
 
3. Use the Project Parameters screen to decide how your report should be displayed.
 
4. Use the Get Data screen to specify the time frame for your data.
